Fieldmate Studio was created by Jana Astrouski and Kyle Helmond, two people who share a love for each other and capturing the moment. Kyle has a vast nature and portrait portfolio and has been featured in National Geographic and Sony Alpha Universe. Jana enjoys capturing product and lifestyle imagery and has forged partnerships with brands such as Aritzia, The Nue and Marrow Fine Jewelry. Together, they achieve balance and create elevated imagery with a focus on natural light and moments.
In 2020, Kyle and Jana photographed their first wedding together - a small ceremony with only the bride and groom’s parents watching through an iPhone held up by a tripod. They later discussed how natural it was to work together and noticed their images complemented one another in a gallery. They’ve been working together on various projects ever since.
